“Our Special Police Officers are a great asset to both the Police Department and our community.  They play an important role in keeping our community safe and I am proud to swear in these new specials and welcome them to the force,” said Mayor Ducey.

The newly sworn in Special Police Officers are Jacob Camaraza, Jacob Wetmore, Kyle Beaver, Christon Clarke and Jonathan Ling.

The Township of Brick has 21 Special Police officers.  They perform functions such as court security, security at meetings and events, traffic control and more.  They also provide support services to the Police Department such as bookings and other administrative work that allow patrolman to spend more time on the streets.
