The Brick Building Department and Office of Inspections will hold weekend office hours this Saturday, May 21, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. Mayor John Ducey and the Township are offering these additional hours in order to better accommodate residents who are unable to apply for permits or inspections during the work week. These additional weekend hours are offered on the third Saturday of every month.
“Over 8,000 homes in Brick were damaged by Superstorm Sandy and many residents are still in the process of rebuilding and restoring,” said Mayor John Ducey. “This, in addition to normally high Spring volumes, has created the demand for extra Building Department hours to meet the needs of our residents,” stated Mayor Ducey.
The Township has created a special hotline at (732) 262-4604 for residents seeking the status of permits. Residents may also email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be advised that the main entrance ramp to Town Hall is closed for construction. Anyone coming to Town Hall this Saturday will need to park in designated areas and use one of the Police Department entrances to the building.
