Police Unity Tour Makes a Stop at Brick Municipal Building

BRICK – The 8th Annual Police Unity Tour made a stop at the Brick Municipal Building on Monday, in honor of fallen Brick Police Officers Kristopher DeMarco, John James Lesemann, and Richard J Harper.

Over 600 officers on bicycles and motorcycles joined Brick Police Chief James Riccio in honoring the fallen officers. The tour, with the motto “We Ride for Those Who Died,” began in Florham Park, NJ and will conclude at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C, making stops in communities who have fallen officers to honor. The tour has raised millions of dollars for the Memorial since its inception in 2007.

“Our Police Officers risk their lives every day to keep us safe. We are very thankful for the sacrifices our Police make and we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting us,” said Mayor John Ducey. “It’s an honor to welcome the Police Unity Tour here in Brick and we wish them safe travels in their journey to Washington,” proclaimed Mayor Ducey.
